This complete 11 piece decal set contains all stripes originally found on the fuel tank, side panels, fairing and rear cowl of the 1980 KZ1000D3 Z1-R & Z1000D3 Z1-R

This set contains stripes for the small tank found on the 1978 Z1000 D1 & 1978 KZ1000 D1. We are not sure if they ever came this way but by now, some '80 Z1R's have been modified and have the small earlier tank. Stripes must be overlapped and joined as done by the manufacturer.

The '78 D1 has a smaller tank than the '80 D3 model. Identifying which tank you have is simple. The "correct" standard (large) tank for the 1980 Z1-R D3 has a raised fuel cap that sits higher than the top of the fuel tank. The smaller tank from the earlier Z1-R D1 has a fuel cap that is almost flush with the top of the tank.

For the smaller '78 Z1R D1 tank on a '80 Z1R D3.
